We're excited to announce two new additions to CheckIn More: a free plan and a Premium plan — along with a new anomalous missed check-in detection feature that comes with all plans.

A Free Plan, Because Peace of Mind Shouldn't Have a Paywall
CheckIn More now has a genuinely free tier. No trial period, no credit card required.
The free plan includes:
- 1 daily check-in time
- Email notifications to 1 contact
- Mood status check-ins and assistance request button
We're able to offer this for free because email is a fundamentally cheaper notification channel than SMS or phone calls — sending an email costs a fraction of a cent, while texts and calls carry real per-message costs. That difference lets us offer a useful, fully functional plan at no cost, and only charge when we're incurring costs to deliver something more.
If one daily check-in and a single contact is all you need, the free plan may be all you ever need.
Premium Plan: Phone Calls for the Moments That Matter
The new Premium plan ($19.99/month) adds AI phone calls to your contacts when you miss a check-in.
Why does that matter? A missed check-in email is easy to overlook. A text is better. But a phone call is harder to miss — and for the people who care about you most, that urgency is sometimes exactly what the situation calls for.
Premium plan includes everything in Plus (email + SMS notifications, unlimited check-ins, unlimited contacts), and adds:

New Feature: Anomalous Missed Check-in Detection
All three plans now include a new smart alerting feature: anomalous missed check-in detection.
Here's how it works: CheckIn More learns your check-in patterns over time. If it detects an unusual number of missed check-ins — beyond what's normal for you — it can trigger an additional, escalated notification to your contacts.
This pairs naturally with the notification tiers. For example:
- Missed check-in → SMS text to contacts
- Anomalous pattern detected → Phone call to contacts
And on the free plan, this means you can have a setup where email is only sent when something genuinely unusual is happening — a quiet, low-friction safety net that only speaks up when it's worth paying attention to.
